Dracula by Deane and Balderston
Purdue University Theatre
West Lafayette, Indiana
In this section of my online portfolio, I have endeavored to briefly illustrate the process I go through when designing costumes for a play. For my example, I have utilized materials from a production of
Dracula produced by Purdue Theatre in 2009 and directed by
Gregg Brevoort. I have created slides explaining my process, including analysis of the script, formatting a design statement, conducting research, and creating preliminary and final designs. I have also included the final designs for Dracula and photographs from the production.
